BIC Razors Upgrades Rose Forgrove Wrapper with New Control System

BW Flexible Systems’ facility in Nottingham has recently delivered a new electrical cabinet complete with all the necessary components for an upgrade of the Rose Forgrove Minerva at Bic Razors in France. This upgrade consists of an update to the latest safety standards, as well as a last generation control upgrade with a touchscreen.
“We decided to upgrade our Rose Forgrove flow wrapper as its electrical components had become obsolete. Our flow wrapper operates three shifts, seven days a week; therefore, we could not afford a lengthy production downtime. Hayssen Flexible Systems (BW Flexible Systems) took advantage of our preventative maintenance break to install this new electrical cabinet. The newly upgraded machine is extremely user-friendly with its touch screen and icons corresponding to various production functions.” Stated Fabien Cledic – Project Manager at Bic Razors’ Longueil Sainte Marie site.
